Traditional funerals follow four stages: the viewing, the service, burial or cremation, and then a wake. Albert Parr and Sons are experienced, trusted providers of traditional funeral services in Beckenham, Penge and the surrounding areas, having served the community for over 150 years.
- Viewings consist of a 2-3 day period whereby the family can visit the person who has died in the funeral home.
- The service is the funeral itself. It can be held in a funeral home, at a crematorium, at the graveyard or at a place of worship, depending on the wishes of the family or the person who has passed, if applicable.
- Burial or cremation is included, with the former allowing for friends and family to go to the cemetery.
- The wake is an occasion where family and friends can gather to celebrate and remember the life of the person who has passed in a more informal environment.
You may have a very specific plan or vision for a funeral; one that truly represents the deceased person, and if you do, then you need the support and assistance of experienced, skilled funeral directors. Albert Parr & Sons have over 150 years of experience in bespoke funerals of all kinds, ensuring our customers’ needs are met and that all wishes are fulfilled.
